A grille integrated so neatly that you cannot see it is frequently a grille that is not moving very much.
What that produces is not a breakdown. It is a slow loss of margin, and it shows up as a cabinet that has quietly got noisier over two years and now cannot hold on a hot day.
Panels, weight and the door
Custom fronts in this town are heavy — solid timber, sometimes with applied mouldings — and the hinge was adjusted for that weight on the day of installation and not since. Cams wear, the door settles a fraction, and the gasket loses contact at the top corner furthest from the hinge. The complaint that arrives is condensation, or frost, or a compressor that never stops, and the fix is mechanical.
